STAGE FLASH SS12

Date: Saturday, March 10th

Day: 3 Flash N°: 12

Special stage: Otates 1 Distance: 26.37 km

Weather: Warm and sunny

Road conditions: Dry

Car 1.   OGIER/INGRASSIA

“I tried to push. It is still very slippery. I cannot do more. I am on the limit.”

Car 4.   MIKKELSEN/JAEGER-SYNNEVAAG

“That stage was a little bit twistier and narrower but I had a better rhythm in there.”

Car 6.   SORDO/DEL BARRIO

“For me it was good. I had a good feeling for the car but the time is not so good.”

Car 7.   LATVALA/ANTTILA

“I struggled in there. There was a lot of loose gravel and it was difficult to get traction. I was in the

higher gears and I think that was a mistake.”

Car 8.   TÄNÄK/JARVEOJA

Toyota have confirmed that the Estonian has retired from the event on the road section after

Guanajuatito following the engine issues that caused him to lose power in SS11.

Car 9.   LAPPI/FERM

Right-front splitter damage in stage. “Very slippery and I am feeling the tyres don’t have any traction at

all. The wheels are spinning and spinning. I dont know what’s wrong to be honest. There is a clean line.

I dont know…”

Car 10.   MEEKE/NAGLE

“It was slow in there, corner after corner, and very technical. Maximum concentration was needed in

there.”

Car 11.   LOEB/ELENA

“Kris did a good time and Ogier also. It was not so good at the end. There was no issue but it was tricky

and very narrow. It was not enough.”

Car 31.   TIDEMAND/ANDERSSON

“It was okay. We found an okay rhythm. That is always the question. We just need to find a balance.”

Car 38.   GREENSMITH/PARRY

“It was good. We had a puncture on the first stage this morning, so we have been keeping it tidy today.

It’s a bit soul-destroying because you want to go a bit.”

Car 39.   HELLER/OLMOS

“Very slippery and tricky. We are having fun and losing time. We are not efficient. We are going really

sideways and losing time.”
