LEÓN (MÉXICO): Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT driver Thierry Neuville has claimed the bragging rights
over M-Sport Ford WRT’s Pierre-Louis Loubet and Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT’s Sébastien Ogier
even before the competitive start of this weekend’s Rally Guanajuato México.
The three WRC rivals were invited to take part in a guacamole-making challenge at the Neuva
Estancia Hotel in León on Monday evening in the presence of chef Juan Navarro. The three were
shown how to prepare Méxican guacamole – an avocado-based dip and spread used extensively in
local cuisine – and were then left to their own devices to see who could create the fastest dish and
also the tastiest.

Perhaps as a sign of things to come over rally weekend, Loubet was deemed to be the fastest,
although Navarro decided that Neuville’s preparation was the tastiest.
Ogier rounded off the podium places in third, although the Frenchman is a six-time winner of the
Méxican round of the FIA World Rally Championship and may well be saving his best form for the
weekend!
